At Humleore Retreat and Artist Residency (HRAR), we are dedicated to providing a haven in the Danish countryside where individuals can take a break from the fast-paced nature of modern life. Our mission is to foster stillness, creativity, and a deep connection with nature.
From September through May, we offer residencies to professional artists from all disciplines, providing them with an opportunity to recharge and reignite their artistic inspiration away from the pressures of daily life. Whether artists apply individually or as part of a collaborative team, our residencies, ranging from 1 to 5 months, offer a nurturing environment for artistic growth.
During the summer months, from May through September, our doors open to retreat bookings. We offer a variety of retreats, including yoga, creative workshops, breathwork, and silent retreats. These retreats allow individuals to immerse themselves in nature, finding solace in the bordering forest, while being conveniently located just 45 minutes away from Copenhagen by car or train. A serene swimming lake is only a 20-minute walk away, and the beach is a short 20-minute drive.
Our retreat features three spacious bedrooms, each accommodating up to two people in single or double beds, as well as two glamping tents and a little cozy cabin. With indoor and outdoor fireplaces, a sauna, outdoor shower, vegetable garden, woodworking workshop, and a small ceramic studio, we provide the necessary facilities for both relaxation and creative exploration.
At HRAR, we offer the flexibility to book rooms and tents separately, and we can arrange for a personal chef to cater to your culinary needs during your stay. We invite you to reach out to us so that we may tailor your experience to meet your group's specific requirements.
Above all, we believe in a holistic and sustainable approach to life. By creating this space, we aim to empower more individuals to slow down, reconnect with themselves, others and nature. We are committed to providing an environment that nurtures personal growth, creativity, and a profound appreciation for the beauty and healing aspects of nature.
